Singer & Friedlander Asset Management was established in December 2011 and entered into its first portfolio management contract with Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander (in Administration) in December 2011 providing front office recovery services. In April 2013 SFAM purchased substantially all of the assets of Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander (in Administration) and took on a further 13 employees specialising in Operations, Accounting and I.T.

SFAM is an independent privately owned partnership. Between October 2008 and October 2011, SFAM personnel assisted in the recovery of over £1.7 billion from the Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander (in Administration) loan portfolio.
